はじめに

こんにちは、野村です。

今回は、Windows10にプロキシサーバ「Squid」を立ててみた際のメモです。

急に思い立って、VirtualBox上の全てのゲストPCでWebのキャッシュを共有させてみることにしました。
それがどれだけの効果が得られるのかは分からないけど、ものは試しです。

ホストPCがWin10なので、Win版Squidを使います。

インストール

ここから squid.msi をダウンロードしてインストールしました。

インストール先は c:\Squid になります。
バージョンは 3.5.27 でした。

設定

C:\Squid\etc\squid\squid.conf を編集します。

ホストPCのIPアドレスは実際のもとのとは変えてあります。
ポート番号も実際のものとは変えてあります。
キャッシュのデレクトリを c:\Squid の外に作ることにした。
ホストPCのIPからのみSquidを利用できるようにしてみた。ゲストPCはすべてNATネットワークで接続しているので、これで十分。

以上の設定ファイルを編集・保存したら、キャッシュを保存するデレクトリ「c:\squid-data\cache」を作ります。

そのあと、WindowsPowerShellを管理者権限で起動させ、以下のコマンドを実行します。
